How and when do I get paid?

You receive a detailed monthly Owner Statement showing all rental activity, expenses, and your net earnings. Payments are sent via direct deposit on a monthly basis. No chasing invoices — it's automatic.

What is the profit split between me and TXRV?

Accepted Answer

We split the nightly rental profits after platform fees (Wheelbase, RVshare) are deducted. Our goal is to maximize your earnings — when your RV earns more, we earn more. We'll walk you through the exact numbers during your free income estimate call.

Are there any upfront costs to join the program?

Accepted Answer

No upfront costs. We invest our time and resources to get your RV listed, photographed, and rented. We only make money when you make money.

Can I make enough to cover my RV loan payment?

Accepted Answer

Many of our owners cover their monthly loan payment and then some. A Class C with a $600/month payment can realistically earn $900–$1,200/month in our program, putting $300–$600 in your pocket after the loan is covered.

Do I need special insurance to rent out my RV?

You need to maintain your own basic personal RV insurance policy (which you likely already have). On top of that, we ensure full commercial rental insurance is in place for every single rental. This commercial coverage handles physical damage, liability, fire, theft, and vandalism — your personal policy is never involved in a rental claim.

What happens if a renter damages my RV?

Renters pay a security deposit before every trip. Any damage is first covered by the security deposit, then by the commercial rental insurance. You are not responsible for rental damage costs, and your personal insurance premiums are never affected.

What if my RV breaks down during a rental?

Renters have access to 24/7 roadside assistance on every trip. Our team handles all breakdown coordination. Systemic failures (A/C, water pump, etc.) that aren't caused by the renter are the owner's responsibility — but we work with warranty providers and local RV techs to get repairs done fast.

Will renting out my RV void my manufacturer warranty?

Generally no — most RV warranties are tied to the vehicle, not the owner's use. However, we recommend checking your specific warranty terms. We're happy to discuss this during your onboarding call.

We primarily work with Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers. RVs should generally be 2017 or newer and in good, rentable condition. We do make exceptions for exceptionally well-maintained older units — reach out and we'll evaluate.

How long are the consignment contracts?

Typical agreements run 6–12 months. We work with each owner individually to find a contract length that makes sense for your situation. We're flexible — our goal is a long-term partnership, not locking you in.

Can I still use my RV while it's in the program?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — it's your RV. Just give us advance notice and we'll block off your dates. As long as it's not booked for a rental, you can use it whenever you want at no charge. Just return it clean and ready for the next guest.

Who handles guest communication and check-in/check-out?

Accepted Answer

We do. From the first inquiry to the final check-out inspection, our team manages all guest communication, screening, check-in walkthroughs, and post-rental inspections. You don't deal with guests at all unless you want to.

How do you maintain my RV?

We perform tire checks before and after every rental, monthly roof and slide-out inspections, ongoing appliance testing, and routine oil changes. We treat your RV like our own — because a well-maintained RV earns more and lasts longer.

Who pays for routine maintenance?

Routine maintenance costs (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) are billed to the owner at discounted rates and can often be deducted directly from monthly rental earnings. Rental damage is covered by renters. Systemic failures are the owner's responsibility but we handle all coordination.
